Safety from Abuse
For many home is a prison of untold violence, oppression, and pain. Fayette Cares offers options and resources to help victims become survivors and break the cycle of violence.
Services include a 24-hour hotline facilitating access to emergency shelter and transportation for victims in imminent danger. Fayette Cares works to create safety with safety planning, emergency cellular phones, security systems, court accompaniment, and links to other essential resources. Support groups are also offered, giving victims the opportunity to find the power of healing within themselves and among other survivors.
This project is funded under an agreement with the State of Tennessee and supported by Award No. 26698 awarded by the Office on Violence Against Women.
