Shop Plants at Great Prices for Charity This Saturday

Saturday, April 13 at Oakland Elementary School Gym, across from Kroger, 14925 Highway 194, Oakland, TN from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM

The annual Fayette Cares Plant Sale has long been known throughout the region as one of the best places to pick up beautiful plants at great prices. You can feel good about your purchase knowing all proceeds help provide shelter for the homeless, safety from domestic violence, and stability for families in financial crisis.

For those eager to purchase plants or wanting to secure early access to some of the most popular plants, you may purchase plants online at the same low prices. These items can be conveniently picked-up at the sale or on Monday, April 15thin Oakland. This is a great way to insure you get the items and quantity you want. Products will be available from trusted vendors throughout the Mid-South including returning favorites like Willow Oaks Flower Farm, Lucerne Farms, Country Gardens, Gardens Oy Vey, Dan West, Bäckermann’s Country Market and Kindred Spirit Style with stylish gifts and garden accessories.New vendors this year include Fenster Farms, Midwest Block & Brick, Oakland Farmer’s Market and Cooper Young Garden Walk, with a portion of garden walk tickets sales benefitting Fayette Cares.

The free Kids Zone keeps children entertainedwhile adults shop and attend gardening workshops. Complete with an inflatable bounce house, escape room, coloring contest, potting station with take-home flower gift and other fun activities, kids are sure to have a great time at this event.

The expert demo schedule has been announced and includes topics like Rock Gardening, 5 Ways to Beautify your Neighborhood, Lasagna Gardening and Canning, Pruning, Hellebores, Azaleas, Propagating and Herbs.
