The Fayette Cares High Cotton 5k/1k is turning up the fun with our first-ever color run on Saturday, September 8th.  We'll shower you with color along a scenic course that includes a historic cemetery, then present cotton-themed 5k trophies at the Fayette County Chamber Cotton Festival featuring live music, inflatables, games, food, a car show and more.

High Cotton Awards

Unique cotton themed trophies are awarded to 5k race winners and participant medallions are provided to all 1k fun runners.  Awards are announced at 10 a.m. at the Fayette Co. Chamber Cotton Festival on the historic Somerville Town Square.

The festival offers post-race family fun including live music, inflatables, games, food, a car show (featuring street rods, antique vehicles, foreign and domestic cars and trucks), heritage demonstrations, folk art, crafts, and much more.
