An estimated 6,000 hours of volunteer services are needed each year, uniting dozens of churches, civic groups, businesses, and individuals, for the greater good.
Volunteers offer a compassionate hand to families requesting food, shelter, rent, and utility assistance. In the pursuit of peace in our homes, volunteers provide domestic violence intervention services including support groups and community education.
Special event volunteers promote awareness, plan and implement special events, support seasonal outreach programs, strengthen fundraising efforts, and manage donations at the Good Samaritan Shop.
Volunteers meet new people, learn new skills and have new experiences while doing something wonderful and positive for Fayette County.
