The sound of laughter greets you as you enter the Fayette Cares Good Samaritan Shop. The shop, neatly stocked with premium gently used items, is a place where old friends and new connect while shopping for treasures.
Here, donated clothing, furniture, and housewares are provided to impoverished families but also sold to the general public to raise funds for emergency services.
Fayette Cares receives high-quality donations (items that are suitable for resale to the public) during the hours of 9am – 4pm, weekdays and Saturdays. Fayette Cares is closed on Sundays.
A must see in the Fayette Cares Good Samaritan Shop is the dedicated section for antiques and collectibles, where you can find such riches including limited edition Hummel figurines and artwork prints, Wedgwood china, silver services, and more.
Volunteers and staff sort and display the abundant supply of gently used and new clothing including name brands like Gap, Liz Claiborne, New York & Company, Nine West, Gucci, and Guess.
Incredibly low prices draw crowds from miles away, who then return regularly to check out the new items arriving daily.
Shoppers know that every dollar spent benefits their neighbors in need. Your donations raise funds for needed services and help families in crisis with basic necessities like clothing, furniture and house wares.
