Since 1986 Fayette Cares, a community-supported, non-profit organization, has served the residents of Fayette County by empowering those in need with hope, independence and lasting solutions. Once regarded as one of the poorest counties in the nation, Fayette County is now a fast growing county in Tennessee.

Guided by the vision of a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors, Fayette Cares is working to meet the rapidly increasing demands of a growing county.
Fayette Cares has successfully united a diverse community of donors and volunteers to provide immediate refuge from hunger, fear, and uncertainty. The seven member staff relies on over 6,000 annual volunteer hours to empower families toward self-sufficiency.
