Gala Helps Nonprofit Provide a Safe Home, Food and Other Critical Resources to People in Need

Fayette Cares will host its annual fundraiser, A Night of Southern Elegance, on November 3 at Ring Companies in Oakland, TN. Event proceeds are used to shelter the homeless, to provide a safe place for families fleeing domestic violence, to feed hungry children, to educate individuals eager to start a new life, and so much more. The A Night of Southern Elegance gala raises critical revenue through ticket sales, sponsorships, contributions, donations, and live and silent auction proceeds.

“It costs over $1500 a day to operate the Fayette Cares Shelter. The funds raised at A Night of Southern Elegance help us continue to serve the community and provide vital resources to those in need,” says Pam Rose, Chief Financial and Operations Officer of Fayette Cares. “Many ask me, how can I help? I tell them there are so many ways; we have something to fit each person’s budget and time constraints — volunteer, purchase tickets or a table at the event, donate auction items, become a sponsor, and if you can’t attend, you can still shop our online auction.”
